morning ·

on the foothill looking south

this is new. my eyes burning on the open plain. the trees like skyscrapers. the water flows and i’m barefoot in the tall grass that grazes my fingertips. the sound of water grows louder while approaching a small hill, and i see the water falling from the tall rocks, surrounded by flowers full of colors and shapes unknown. a panicked thought comes over me.

a huge, open, empty landscape. he isn’t scared yet. he just wants to explore.

the sleep of a dreamer · 2016

ten songs, one dream. a boy falls asleep and wakes somewhere he has never been: an empty world where the colors are wrong and the shadows follow him. he fights them off with fire and light, loses the light, and runs until the very last second, when he wakes up.

every song has its own hand-drawn picture, included as a booklet with the album.
